Financial Crime Prevention Compliance Officer

Responsibility:
You will be responsible for reviewing the risks associated with business relationships as part of periodic assessments in high-risk areas. Additionally, you will conduct spot checks on existing periodic reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including the DDA/SPO (GWG/GWV), FMA guidelines, and international KYC, AML, and CTF standards, along with our internal quality guidelines.
You will independently identify areas that require action and initiate the appropriate measures. It is your responsibility to ensure that all internal procedures and processes adhere to applicable regulations and laws.
You will also support our employees in Business Relationship Management (BRM) by conducting plausibility checks and monitoring tasks related to the updating of business profiles and due diligence obligations.
Your participation in the implementation of new regulations and the associated standard setting as well as the further development of internal guidelines and process involvement will include the implementation of new regulations, the establishment of associated standards, and the continual development of internal guidelines and processes. You will collaborate in the bank's ongoing quality management efforts and contribute to the area of financial crime prevention.
Profile:
Completed commercial training in banking or relevant professional experience in the banking sector.
Initial experience in a compliance environment and familiarity with regulatory requirements in banking is advantageous.
Fluent in German and possess strong written and oral English skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
A strong interest in reviewing client relationships and a commitment to professional development.
Methodical, structured, and conscientious approach to work.
Reliable and able to work independently.
